Educator Associate

Be an Educator at Bionerds biology workshops for kids from Kindergarten through 8th grades. Teach biology curriculum and assist the kids with hands-on activities. Setting and cleaning up classroom before and after classes. A bachelor’s degree in Biology or other related science/experience is a must. Able to work IN-PERSON the morning and/or afternoon for about 2-6 hours/day between 9am-6pm, up to 5 days per week, during regular seasons. Able to work IN-PERSON 4-8 hours per day for up to 5 days during Summer season. Need to work occasionally on weekends for event hosting or marketing event for 2-5 hours. Paid hourly, approximately up to 30 hours a week depending your availability and registration numbers. Requires travel to different cities in Orange County. May assist in the administration and/or sales/marketing department to promote the company.

Desired skills and expertise

Love working with kids. Fun, flexible, eager to learn and reliable. Teaching experience is preferred, but not required. Must have transportation to go to different cities in Orange County. The interview may be conducted along with teaching skill test for each applicant. Need to pass a background/fingerprint check, drug and TB tests.

Pay Range: $20-$24 per hour.
