Hey there, Bionerds scientists, I’m Karyo (Kare-ee-o) the cell, your squishy, fun-loving, biology mascot and today is my birthday! Today I joined the Bionerds’ family.
I love Biology and can’t wait to meet you. Check out my cytoplasm body. See these little dots floating around? Those are my organelles. Organelles are the tiny structures that perform the work in our cells. You have inside your cells as well. I’m super stretchy and bendy, so I can twist into fun poses while we have fun and learn all about biology.
Together, you and I are going to explore everything from the tiniest cells to fascinating animals like creepy-crawly insects and mysterious marine creatures. Then, we will magnify the science of DNA and explore forensic as investigations. There are so many amazing living things and discoveries, and I can’t wait to dive into the wonders of life with you!
So, grab your lab coat and safety goggles (I love safety), and let’s get started. Because whether we’re studying bioenergy or dissecting hearts, each day is a brand-new adventure with me, Karyo! Let’s go!
